Noise Regulation

The Statement BDC is PLiXiR’s flagship Balanced DC Linear Power Supply. Based on our award-winning Elite BDC, our unique 3-stage noise regulation architecture has undergone massive circuit refinements. With the new proprietary star+plane ground design, massively increased capacitance (> 40%), and improved layout schemes it has allowed us to further reduce the noise floor (both high frequency and low frequency), the eddy ground loop current, and the output impedance for transient current delivery.

Unique Highest-End Transformer by Noratel

The Statement BDC features the use of the PLiXiR Tru-Balanced power transformer design, custom-made for PLiXiR by reputable English company Noratel. These transformers have a unique core and are true balanced, bifilar wound using the patented XQ (eXtra Quiet) technology. Featuring a massively oversized transformer core, high purity OFC copper wire, a magnetic shield with vibration absorbing property and other secret tricks from experience, it’s the highest-end transformer used in a DC power product to date.

Bfly Master PRO Footers

High-end footers Master PRO footers from Bfly Audio are used for all Statement BDC. These amazing German-made footers feature multi-layer damping with different materials for different vibration frequency damping and are solely custom-made to our specs. They are mounted loose and free without stress so that the statement BDC performance will be maximized when placed onto the surface.

Handcrafted

All PLiXiR products are handcrafted in Singapore. The ability to control all aspects of the PCB and product assembly allows PLiXiR to fully optimise the performance and sound for all their products. Electrical connections are done to the furthest extent using point-to-point direct soldering. Another important point is the use of selected premium components including ultra-low-impedance capacitors, high-current connectors, and high-purity copper cables.

Each product is uniquely made. No cookie cutter process, which focuses on production quantity but sacrifice performance, is allowed here. PLiXiR exists to make good products, not more products. The final tuning is done by James Soh, the founder, for the PLiXiR sound.

Whether it’s a bright and brassy musical passage, or the sharp tones characteristic of a vocal singer, PureTone accurately and unbiasedly reproduces all the nuances in timbre – nothing more, nothing less. PureTone is all about going back to the fundamentals of music – when music starts to convey its meaning and stir our soul so that we begin to understand and emote with the music, no matter the system resolution.
