The Elite BAC MK II is the new generation Balanced Power Conditioner from PLiXiR.

Based on the award‐winning Elite BAC, which has been in continuous production since 2016, the Elite BAC MK II improves upon the original in all performance aspects. The new BAC MK II has an even lower natural noise floor, improved dynamics and PRaT, the unveiling of even more nuances and aural details, and increased body to the sound while maintaining the neutral and natural tone that PLiXiR is known for.

Custom Transformer by Noratel

The heart of the Elite BAC MkII series is a greatly improved custom single‐winding power transformer, custom-made according to the PliXiR specification by the English company Noratel. These transformers have a unique core and are true balanced, bifilar wound using the patented XQ (eXtra Quiet) technology. When developing the new transformer, extreme emphasis was placed on low noise and low vibration. An external shield was added to reduce stray magnetic flux.

This provides better noise isolation, power conditioning, and optimal system grounding for your Hi‐Fi system.

Elite BAC MK II: Advancing Balanced Power Conditioning

Together with improved case works, customed Bfly Audio Master Pro‐Feet footers, PLiXiR‐designed OFC internal hookup wires, and improved construction technique, the Elite BAC MK II is set to raise the bar for Balanced Power Conditioning for audio applications for years to come. To achieve even greater sound quality, the new Elite BAC MK II models have removed the power on/off switch by default (always on). The on/off switch is optional for BAC 1500 MK II and BAC 3000 MK II only.

All PLiXiR Balanced AC Conditioners (BAC) don’t use protection circuits (overvoltage, short circuits, etc.) that are detrimental to sound quality. They also don’t have stabilization or regeneration circuits or capacitive or inductive filters.

All PLiXiR products are handcrafted in Singapore at their own facility, where they are fully assembled, tuned, and sound and performance tested.
