The highly regarded SAEC SCX-5000 phono cable features the innovative PC-Triple C conductor with stable electrical properties such as ultra-low distortion and superior conductivity.
PC-Triple C utilizes a unique continuous forging and stretching technology to minimize grain boundaries that impede signal transmission, ensuring the longitudinal continuity of the crystals and achieving superior conductivity. By reducing conductor resistance, sound is transmitted smoothly from low to high frequencies, resulting in a wide dynamic range and a high S/N ratio.
Meticulous attention to the internal structure, including silk thread integration and fluorine insulation, preserves delicate analog signals from noise, vibration, and static electricity, which can undermine sound quality. Three distinct shielding layers—individual braided shielding for L and R, comprehensive copper foil shielding, and exterior braid—provide robust noise protection. Silk, used as the filler, is pliable, resilient, and resistant to static electricity.
SAEC uses original gold-plated plugs for this type of Phono cable.
